General Rules
General rules are defined to manage the order flow journey in Ginkgo. It depends on the brands and how they want to configure them.
Number Based split:
The user shall be able to split the order according to its defined ratio.
This will help users to restrict the number of child orders according to their own preferences.
If the number of child orders exceeds the ratio then the whole order should be moved to the HALT Tab.
Assign Tags on Split:
You can assign user-defined tags when the order is split.
Users shall be able to define the tags on triggers.
When a specified action is triggered, these tags will be implemented on the GINKGO order view and on Shopify.
Send the whole order to a halt:
When the value of this checkbox is held true, the system will send the whole order to dead if any of its child orders cannot be fulfilled due to any reason.
In case it is unchecked, the system will send only those child orders in “Dead” which cannot be fulfilled. The rest of the child orders will be fulfilled according to the defined rules.
Treat the warehouse as a normal location:
Consider the warehouse as a standard location if it cannot fulfill the entire order.
This approach ensures that the order is fulfilled as much as possible, even if it involves sourcing products from multiple locations or suppliers.
Auto-Reassign location:
This automation ensures that in case an order is disapproved, the order will be automatically assigned to the next nearest location without manually assigning it to other locations.
Users can set a number of times for which locations should be auto-reassigned in case it is disapproved.
If the number of times limit is exceeded then the order will fall in the HALT tab.
Exclude disapproved location:
Orders that have been disapproved at a specific location will not be assigned to that location again.
Determining the Unique Identifier for Line Items
The choice between using an SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) or Barcode as a unique identifier for line items depends on the brand's preference, as both can serve as distinctive identifiers.
Warehouse for International Orders:
In this, placard you can select any location from the drop-down list, to act as a warehouse for International orders to process. International Orders will be dispatched only from that location.
Note: International orders must be dispatched from only one location.
