What happens to an order when it’s placed in an e-commerce store?

When an order is placed on an e-commerce site, Ginkgo fetches the order along with complete details using webhook in real-time.

When Ginkgo fetches the orders, it divides it into two segments;

Filters:

You can filter orders by Order number, Payment Status (Paid / Pending), Courier Status (Fulfilled, Partial, Not Fulfilled.), City, Product Type (Stitched, Unstitched, etc ), Quantity, Order Amount, Duplicate orders (Yes, No) Tags, Courier status, order creation Date, Risk status (Low, Medium, and High), and Acceptance Rate (Low, Medium, and High).

Save Filters:

In this setting, you can save a set of filters that you frequently use for your daily tasks. You have the option to choose from the available filters, save them, and assign a name for future usage.

Transaction Details:

Payment Gateway Options:

  • Cash on Delivery: This option allows customers to pay for their orders in cash at the time of delivery.

  • Paid Orders: This refers to orders where customers have successfully gone through the payment process, and the payment has been confirmed.

Comments:

You can add order comments to each child order separately.

Select the comment drop-down menu and Add a comment.

When a comment is added by the user, a log will be generated with the user name and date.

NOTE: Users can pre-define these comments through settings → process and flow setting → comments settings.

Order Log:

The order log is a comprehensive record that provides detailed explanations for each step of the order management system. If there is a bug, error, or process that gets stuck at any point, you can also identify it through the Order Log.

Custom Notification:

Users have the capability to send individualized messages directly to customers by utilizing three distinct channels:

  • Email

  • SMS

  • Whatsapp

Notes:

The Notes Tab permits users to include individual notes for each child's order. Its functionality mirrors that of comments, but in the Notes section, users can input their own written notes rather than using pre-defined comments.

NOTE: In each Ginkgo tab, there's an option to export a CSV file that holds detailed order data, including reasons and comments. You can also perform all the actions listed for each tab in a bulk manner by following these steps:

  1. Choose multiple orders collectively.

  2. Click on the designated action button.
