Product
The product tab contains various functionalities associated with the creation and synchronization of products. Additionally, it facilitates the bulk uploading of media on different platforms. This means that users can efficiently manage and coordinate product information, as well as seamlessly distribute images across multiple platforms simultaneously.
The product tab is divided into the following sub-tabs.
Active Products :
The "ACTIVE" status is assigned to those products that are accessible and visible to the customers.
Users can add a product by clicking the "Add Product" button from the available options. Once, they select this action, the dropdown, will display the following options;

Upload Manually:
The user will be able to create the product manually through Ginkgo, the following fields can create a product.
Title: A title of the product must be provided and cannot be left blank, but it does not necessarily need to be unique.
Description: Any details related to the product can be stated.
Handle: It will automatically generate a unique identifier of the product.
Upload Option: Upload files from the system or choose from the media pool of Product Management.
NOTE: (Here files uploaded at the time of product creation will become part of the media pool)
Identifier And Inventory:
a. Within this section, the "Track Inventory" checkbox is optional.b. Enabling the "Apply Tax" checkbox allows users to set the tax percentage for a product that is already set in the settings.
c. When the "Subscriptions" checkbox is activated, users must specify the minimum and maximum subscription criteria for the product (e.g., daily, monthly, yearly, etc.).
Price: The user is required to input the price for the product, as it is a mandatory field. However, the comparison price is optional. The decision to display both the sale price and the original price depends on the brand's preference.
Shipping: If the checkbox is selected, users gain permission to input the "weight" attribute. The weight can be specified in units such as kilograms (kg), grams (g), ounces (oz), and pounds (lb).

Product Detail: In this field, users can input product details, including barcode, SKU, bin number, and serial number.
Inventory: This field requires the addition of available inventory for the brand. The checkbox for "Continue Selling When Out of Stock" is optional.
Warranty: When the user incorporates the product warranty, it should be specified in terms of the number of days.

Product Options: If the products have different variants, there is an option provided for their addition.

Status: The product can be assigned the following statuses:
a. Active: Indicates that the product details are completed, and the product is ready for sale.
b. Draft: Signifies that the product details are incomplete, and are not yet available for sale.

Product Hierarchy: Users can input product details like seller information, product type, collections, or category into the listed product hierarchy. These details can be created through the product hierarchy tab.

Tags: Users have the option to add tags to the products for internal organizational purposes; however, this field is not compulsory.

Product Availability: Selecting the "Online Sale Channel" checkbox will automatically publish the product on the online channel.

SEO Preview: This information is required for how your product will display in search engine results, such as on Google. The preview consists of the SEO title, the display name its URL on your online store, and part of the description.
Upload CSV:
Another method to upload a product involves uploading a CSV file. When uploading a CSV file, a checkbox allows users to overwrite existing products with the same handle. If selected, matching handles in the CSV file will replace values in corresponding columns of the existing product list. If not selected, products with matching handles will be ignored during the CSV import.
NOTE: A sample file of CSV is available for the user’s convenience.

Draft Product Tab:
In the "Draft Product" tab, the term "Draft" refers to the status assigned to products that are not currently visible to the front-end visitors of the website (which are the customers). However, Draft Products can be marked as active products.
Archive Product Tab:
The product will be hidden from all sale channels in the Archive Product tab. If the product is currently unavailable but there's a chance of restocking it in the future, archiving is advisable. This enables a straightforward process to reintroduce the product when needed.
Deleted Product Tab:
This tab shows products that were previously created but have since been deleted. By using this tab, a comprehensive record of all products, including those that have been deleted, is presented.
