Vendors

This module manages the movement of inventory from multiple ERP/POS platforms to an E-Commerce platform. Gingko serves as a middleware for the management of inventory according to the unique identifier (SKU & Barcode).

The following fields are required to be completed by the brand to connect their vendor.

Creating Vendor

  1. Vendor Name

  2. Manage Name

  3. Phone Number

  4. Email

  5. Inventory source

Multiple options are provided in Ginkgo to manage the inventory sources for any brand. These are listed below;

  • Manual

  • Candela

  • GTECH

  • AX

  • AX_DB

  • Shopify

  • Upload CSV

  • Retail pro

  • Dynamics

  1. Order Source

  2. Product source

The brand needs to select its product source to connect with Ginkgo to manage the inventory. The product sources integrated with Ginkgo are stated below;

  • Candela

  • Magento

  • Shopify

  • Comverse

  1. Price Source: the brand needs to select the price source they are using for their products.

  • Shopify

  • Upload CSV

  1. Order dispatch from: the brand can select the option they are using to process their orders. The options to be selected are provided below;

  • Ginkgo

  • POS

  1. Sub-vendor: The brand needs to further select and add their sub-vendors, in this field.

Once, the basic details of Vendor creation have been added, the following settings need to be set in order to integrate with your ERP and Sync products successfully.

Syncing Product From POS (Inventory)

Users can Sync their inventory in Ginkgo through their selected inventory source (Candela, AX, Retail Pro, Gtech, etc.) 

The user needs to provide source details in case of API-based connection as:

  • URL

  • App ID

  • App Key

This field depends on the POS you are using. The scheduler will start working to sync inventory from POS to Ginkgo.

Product Sync

To sync products from POS, users must select a product source as POS in the vendor section (Candela, AX, Retail Pro, Gtech, etc).

The user needs to provide source details to integrate API-based connection as:

  •   URL

  • App ID

  • App Key

The user needs to add the source details in case of a database-based connection as:

  • Hostname 

  • Username

  • Password 

  • Port

  • Database name

Users can set the scheduler to sync products from POS to Ginkgo and then to Shopify.

The fields fetched from POS will be updated at Ginkgo as product information. Fields missing on POS will be kept empty at Ginkgo and on Shopify in the product information.
